Material Selection Guide

Materials are specified for high static and dynamic strength:

• Aprons: Heavy-gauge Manganese Steel or Abrasion-Resistant Steel (AR-400) for maximum wear life and impact tolerance.

• Chain: Heat-treated, hardened Bushing Chains or specialized engineered chains with large integral rollers.

• Sprockets: Cast or fabricated steel, often segmented for easier replacement without removing the drive shaft.
