Material Selection Guide

Materials are selected based on ISO Class and non-shedding properties:

• Metal: AISI 304 or 316 Stainless Steel (Electropolished), or high-quality clear-anodized Aluminum extrusion.

• Wear Surfaces: Virgin UHMW-PE or Delrin (Acetal) polymer that is FDA-approved and tested for low friction/low wear.

• Belts: Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) or homogeneous Urethane belting, often reinforced with aramid fiber for low stretch.
