Material Selection Guide

The material selection is guided by the environment, not the length, but the thickness must accommodate the span:

• Frame Material: Must be selected to prevent undue deflection (sagging) over the custom, long span. For lengths exceeding 6 meters, heavier gauge steel or reinforcement is often specified.

• Belt/Roller Surface: Standard materials apply (e.g., PVC belt, steel rollers), but continuous lengths of belt or chain require higher splicing precision to maintain tracking accuracy.
